Maryam Bahrololoumi’s 'Patio' is about the story of individuals whose city, no matter how large it is, but is similar to a small “Patio” for them.

Based on a script written by Hamed Qasemi titled ‘The Roof Bell’, ‘Patio’ is the first indie experience of Maryam Bahrololoumi as director.

Her second film titled ‘Shahrbanou’ is now in post-production stage.

Behnaz Jafari, Ali Yaghoubi, Babak Ansari, Pouriya Poursorkh and Karim Amini are among the cast members of the film.

The film has competed in more than 30 international festivals over the past three years, including the 5th Straight Jacket Guerrilla Film Festival in the UK, the Noble International Film Festival in India, the 2021 Istanbul Int’l Nartugan Film Festival (IINFF) in Turkey and the 2021 Parana Int’l Film Festival (PIFF) in Argentina.
